CPC courses
• The Road Haulage Association will be holding a national CPC course at Peterborough between 16 and 20 November. Revision days will be held between 30 November and 1 December. The exam will be on 4 December.

FERRIES
By-pass route
• Brittany Ferries freight services are to offer a "ByPass" service between Poole and Santander on the 20,500ton vessel Barfieur between mid-November and midMarch. Depart Poole on Friday at 23:45hrs, arrive Santander on Sunday at 08:00hrs; depart Santander on Sunday at 12:00hrs, arrive Poole Monday at 16:00hrs. Truckline is also adding capacity throughout the week on its Portsmouth to St Maki service.
