Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FROM DECEMBER Seddon Atkinson 201 16-ton rigids will go into full production equipped with a more powerful engine.

Installed in the 201, the Perkins T6.3544 turbocharged and intercooled engine producing 1 10.8kW (1 4 9.6bhp) at 2,600rpm and torque of 486Nm (358 Ibft) at 1,600rpm will complement the International Harvester D358 rated at 100kW (134bhp) at 3,000 and 355Nm (266 lbft) at 1,600rpm.

Fitting the new engine, intended primarily for long distance operation, has incurred other significant changes to the 201 chassis introduced only 12 months ago.

A single-speed Eaton axle is considered to be ideal for most applications, and is specified as standard with the original twospeed axle offered as an option. In order to reduce clutch pedal effort, the clutch mechanism has been changed from rod to hydraulic operation and a larger 355mm (14in) diameter plate is specified to cater for higher engine loads.
