FRIDGE OPERATORS using dual-mode diesel/electric refrigeration units on trailers and vehicles often have to rely on remotely sited external electrical power supplies to run the fridge unit while the vehicle is in the depot.
To ensure the safe stowage of the electrical power cables, V. L. Martin has introduced the Marcaddy heavy-duty springoperated cable reel.
Designed for maximum safety and durability, the Marcaddy can accommodate longer lengths and larger diameter cables than the standard range, with electrical continuity maintained through a high-quality slip ring rated at 30amps per phase up to six phases. Two spring cassettes rewind the cable back on to the drum after use.
Swivel or fixed mountings are available, enabling the reel to be mounted to the wall, ceiling or on a plinth.
