Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SEVERE WINTER with freezing temperatures can create many problems for operators, not least diesel fuel waxing causing blocked fuel lines and filters.

As an alternative to fuel additives, Car Lighting Services has introduced the wrap-around AWA fuel filter heater, which can be adapted to fit any unit whatever the shape or size.

The heater consists of a flat aluminium strip which incorporates a printed curcuit heater equipped with three terminals allowing a variable output of 10, 20 or 40 watts on 12 volt circuits and 40 or 80 watts on 24 volt vehicle systems.

When the vehicle's fuel filter needs replacing, the strip is simply removed and re-affixed to the new unit. No special fitting kit is needed, as each heater element is supplied with an inline fuse and fitting straps.

The AWA heater costs £25 per unit, although discounts are available to large fleet users. Each heater is guaranteed for twelve months.
