CHRIS STEVENSON, last year's winner of the CM-sponsored Young Lorry Driver of the Year competition, has won the International Young Lorry Driver of the Year award, an event sponsored by the National Joint Training Committee for Young Drivers and Transport Training (Norfolk).
The competition, held in Holland earlier this month, comprised two teams of six young drivers from the UK and Holland. They competed in manoeuvring tests, fault-finding tests and a quiz.
Mr Stevenson took first prize after winning a tie-break with a member of the Dutch team.
