FODEN has announced two export orders from the Middle East which between them have a total value of over ElM.

The first order, from the General Navigation and Commerce Co of Dubai, is for 20 6X4 S40 cab units consisting of 15 tractive units and five tippers. With 60 tonnes (59 tons) gross capacity, the tractive units will be coupled to Dyson end tipping semitrailers with 24cu m (31cu yd) capacities. The 6X4 tippers have capacities of 32 tonnes (31.5 tons) and the vehicles are to be used by the local construction industry in Dubai., With a value of over £600,000 the second order is bound for Saudi Arabia and consists of 21 6 X 4 heavy duty vehicles fitted with 18cu m (23.5cu yd) Edbro tipper bodies. These vehicles will be working in the established quarry areas being operated by Ghodran Transport Co for Foster Yeoman delivering aggregates in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia.
