ve recently started driving a tipper to building site. The site manager says I iould clean the tipper's tyres and wheels rhen I leave the site to join the highway gain. Is this true?
ne Highway Code states that it is illegal spread mud on the road because it an make the road very slippery and otentially dangerous for other road sers, so the site manager is right to say Du should clean your tipper's tyres nd wheels.
Other things to remember when leaving building site are to turn off the diff-lock nd check you don't have any bricks or tier rubble trapped between the tyres.
