Mitutoyo is offering a range of Digi Wave digital measuring equipment for the automotive aftermarket
The tread depth gauge, which is in use by Vehicle Inspectorate test stations, gives readings in 0.01mm increments over a 28mm range and can also measure brake shoe lining and pad wear. The gauge also has a data outlet port and an optional snap-fit transmitter module that provides remote analysis by wireless transmission, from one button.
Other DigilVave tools include brake measurers for gauging drum thickness and shoe settings plus disc, pad and shoe depths, and air pressure gauges for LCVs
and heavy commercials.
