Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• PunctureGuard is a new 'tyre puncture sealant that is claimed to reduce or even eliminate a truck or van fleet's annual puncture repair bill.

The new sealant is a waterbased solution that is claimed to last for the legal life of the tyre and to enable a driver to maintain his speed without first having to stop and deal with the puncture.

The sealant remains in a liquid state until a puncture occurs when air pressure forces it into the hole where it solidifies. Holes up to 9mm can be sealed in road tyres or 15mm in off-readers.

Its use on four mid-sized van tyres, as an example, costs around 140 but fleet installations can bring the cost down to as little as 110. It will mean there's no rim damage, no downtime, delivery deadlines are safe and there are no risky hard shoulder tyre changes.

Unlike aerosol treatments that are used after deflation, PunctureGuard is injected through the valve with the tyre inflated in a process that takes just 15 minutes for all four tyres.

The treatment is non

toxic, biodegradable, CFC-free and is non-flam mable; temperature range is -40.0 to +90_C.
