A 10 PER CENT increase in pre-tax profits in the 12 months ended on June 30 is reported by Mitchell Cotts Transport Ltd. The company, which is holding its agm on December 3, increased its net profits from £450,022 in the year ended in 1973 to £517,512. Earnings per share are boosted by 15 per cent.
The directors of the company have told their shareholders that cold store capacity was doubled during 1973 by a new store at Dunton Green, near Sevenoaks.
