Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Circloc, a new nylon selflocking fastening element introduced by Firth Cleveland Fastenings Ltd., can be applied to all threaded metal parts. It consists of a continuous strip of a special nylon formulation which is permanently fused under carefully controlled conditions to the thread. The strip is in the form of a spiral located around the thread but it leaves the lead threads unaffected.

Made by: Firth Cleveland Fastenings Ltd., Treforest, Glamorgan.
