Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JUST-GB HAS launched an online survey in a bid to gather facts and operators' views on the industry-wide issue of dropped trailers.

The high-profile supplier of fifth wheels and semi-trailer landing legs hopes that the survey will establish the overall scale of the problem, its root causes and what the industry thinks could he done to alleviate its causes.

"Dropped trailers are an industry-wide occurrence with serious health and safety and cost implications," says a Jost-GB spokesman. "However, as far as we are aware no hard and fast statistics exist on the extent of the problem or its causes — we are looking to address this through the survey" The company plans to release the findings of the survey in the hope of improving safety.

The survey can be found online at vvww.jost.co.uk
