• Yorkshire-based Gill Demolitions has taken delivery of three new high powered Dafs. They are being used to remove site materials and deliver heavy-duty plant.
The company has taken on two 480hp Daf 8x4 tippers with steel bodies that will operate across the country in on and off-road operation. A 6x4 Daf FTT95 XF with a 480hp engine will move heavy plant to various sites aboard a triaxle Nooteboom trailer. The tractive unit and semi-trailer are plated to run under STGO regulations at 150 tonnes.
The majority of the work consists of demolition projects ranging from multi-story blocks to industrial site clearance.
