• Davis Brothers (Haulage) Ltd., one of the country's largest independent haulage groups, is to carry on its business as usual, even though all 10 companies in the Davis group were put in the hands of receivers early this year.
Mr. J. M. Fletcher, who with Mr. C. B. Newcomb is joint receiver and manager of the company, told CM this week that there were no plans at present for selling the company, although offers for it would be duly considered.
The construction of the company's new premises at Warley, he said, was still in progress and would not be halted.
