Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

At the centre of the 13518 dashboard sits Steyr's unique Check Control unit which monitors all the truck's systems. A schematic diagram of the chassis indicates an area that may need to be checked out for a problem, while a red or yellow light indicates whether you should do it immediately, or whether it can be left until the truck gets back to base.

In a nutshell, the Check Control system allows routine checks normally carried out by the driver outside the vehicle to be done in comfort from his seat. And if this means that he is less likely to neglect his daily checks on a cold, wet and dark morning, then it must be a good idea.

Oil and water can be added using the fillers conveniently placed to the near side rear of the cab. The cab can be raised hydraulically through 65° providing clear access to all of the major ancillaries and allowing close attention to the engine.
