• Robinsons of Great Harwood, Lanes, has taken delivery of five Van Hool Alizee-bodied Daf MB230 coaches for UK and European touring work. They were supplied through Cleckheaton dealer Hughes. This is the third year that Robinsons has bought Van Hool Dais.
London locals grow • Between October 1986 and March 1989 the Metropolitan Traffic Commissioner granted 101 licences for local bus services in London other than those controlled by London Regional Transport, Transport Minister Michael Port& said in a Parliamentary answer on 21 June. He also granted a total of 72 licences for excursions or tours.
These were given under Part Two of the 1985 Transport Act, he added.
