Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Coventry-based Transfleet Services is to increase the size of its truck rental fleet by 30% under a 212m investment programme.

The company is buying more than 430 vehicles, including 103 tractive units, from Iveco Ford, Leyland Daf and Ford, bringing the hire fleet up to around 1,400 vehicles.

David Gray, executive director of Truck Rental, says: "We continue to have a utilisation figure of over 75% with our fleet, and although market forecasts predict a downturn, Transfleet business continues to be very buoyant."

In addition to dropside 17tonners, tippers and dualcompartment fridge vehicles capable of being set at different temperatures, Transfleet is adding a new type of refrigerated unit to its fleet. To cater for the continuing demand for transporting frozen food, it is buying a number of 1.7-tonne fridge vans, intended for shorthaul and market delivery operations.

The company operates truck rental services from 20 depots.
