Imports, has been established to import pre-1982 American trucks to the UK.
Dick Hudson, the company's founder, says he has already received 10 expressions of interest and one deposit for his first import, a 1979 Kenworth Aerodyne with a Caterpillar engine, priced at 28,000.
Hudson now plans to import further examples of the aluminium-bodied, sixwheeled trucks, and says the first import will be on show at the Bath and West showground at Shepton Mallet for Truckfest South West.
Hudson says pre-1982 US trucks are not subject to Type Approval in the UK.
