Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DUAL-PURPOSE coupling and drawbar is a feature of rt a new Taskers 3-ton farm trailer. It enables the trailer to be used with either a hydraulic pick-up bitch or the normal jaw coupling. Mounted on the tubular drawbar is a short sliding unit having at one end a standard jaw and at the other a towing eye. To change from one type of hitch to the other, the dual-purpose unit is removed, turned round and replaced. It is located by a pin.

Incorporated in the unit is a skid welded on remote from the towing eye. When the latter is being brought into action, the skid is on the ground and facilitates coupling up.

The screw-down support leg for use with the standard jaw coupling is designed so that the ground pad can be raised in one quick movement. It is retained close to the drawbar for travelling and of course, when the towing eye is in use with the pick-up hitch. The fitting, which has the approval of the Ford Motor Co., Ltd., for use on the Fordson Major tractor, is made by Taskers of Andover (1932), Ltd., Waterloo Iron Works. Andover, Hants.
