A choice of three tread patterns for rear tyres of tractors will be offered in the lyres to be shown by Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, on Stand 162 U. Tyres suitable for all types of farm equipment will also be featured.

The new Super-Sure-Grip tractor tyre will be the highlight of the range of tyres to be exhibited by the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Gt. Britain), Ltd., Bushbury, Wolverhampton, on Stand 420 F.

Tyres to be shown by the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, will range from tractor rear tyres to those .designed for use on barrows (Stand 345 A).

A recent introduction by Lodge Plugs, Ltd., Rugby, is a watertight terminal cover, which prevents a plug shorting as the result of moisture causing a leak to earth. This and a full range of Sintox-insulated plugs will be shown on Stand 159 E.

Joseph Lucas and Co., Ltd., Great King Street, Birmingham (Stand 577 C), will make a feature of its B90 factory exchange scheme, whereby an original unit is removed and a replacement fitted on the spot. A full range of Lucas agricultural accessories in the form of lighting sets and magnetos for tractors, and wind-driven electric lighting plants, will also be displayed.

Tyres for the front and rear wheels of tractors and others for all types of trailer and other types of farm vehicle, will form the exhibit of the Michelin Tyre Co., Ltd., 81, Fulham Road, London, S.W.3, Stand 257 F.

D24 Murex Welding Processes, Ltd., Waltham Cross, Hens (Stand 477 D), will exhibit a range of Murex arcwelding equipment and electrodes specially suited to the needs of agricultural engineers and farmers.

On Stand 480 F, the Wayne V. Myers Co., Ltd., 353-365, High Road, Chiswick, London, W.4, the concern responsible for Redcx engine oil inhibitor will have various pieces of engine-test equipment, together with a number of accessories to facilitate the servicing of tractors.

Seven tractor and industrial-type oil engines will form part of the exhibit of F. Perkins, Ltd., Queen Street, Peterborough (Stand 575 C). One of the company's mobile instruction schools will be at Cambridge, as well as an exhibition caravan and an enrolment office for the Perkins Agricultural Drivers' Club. There will be 45 Perkins oil engines on the stands of tractor makers and distributors.

Experts will demonstrate the arc process of welding on Stand 98 D, to be occupied by the Quasi-Arc Co., Ltd., Bilston, Staffs. W.I (Stand 202 F); Snowdon Sons and Co., Ltd., 4, Chantrey House, Eccleston Street, London, S.W.1 (Stand 447 B); Regent Oil Co., Ltd., 117, Park Street, W.1 (Stand 282 E); Memo!, Ltd., Royal London House, Finsbury Square, London, E.C.2 (Stand 538 A); Vacuum Oil Co., Ltd., Caxton House, Westminster, London, S.W.1 (Stand 618 E); C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd., 46, Grosvenor Street. London, W.1 (Stand 481 F).

The Road Haulage Association, 146, New Bond Street, London, W.1, will have an office on Stand 164 B, whilst, as in previous years, Merryweather and Sons, Ltd., Greenwich High Road, London. S.E.10, will be responsible for the fire protection arrangements (Stand 335 C). A resident team of lire-fighters will maintain a 24-hour watch.
