JACK RICHARDS & Son, based in Fakenham. Norfolk. has been given authorisation for 10 vehicles and 12 trailers at a new operating centre at the Taylor Wimpey base on the Newmarket Business Park in Newmarket, Suffolk. The company also wants to remove its operating centre at Mars UK in King's Lynn, Norfolk, from its licence. Earlier this year, Wisbech Roadways the operator consortium of East Anglian hauliers including Jack Richards,GarnTransport and Knowles Ttansport renewed its distribution contract with principle customer Premier Foods. The deal is worth around f15m per year to the consortium and will extend the operation through 10 2012.
