worth 260,000 from Scunthorpe-based Cargo Management Services. The criminals entered the company's yard on the Flixborough Industrial Estate by burning round the padlock to remove it and then uncoupled the vehicles from their trailers and drove off with the Mercedes-Benz tractive units.
Director Kieran O'Kelly says: "There wasn't a piece of glass in the place and they placed the padlock back so noone would have thought anything had happened."
The first vehicle, a 2435 model, registration number H303 DFE, was red with a black chassis. Its chassis number is 65711025519646 and its engine number is 44296520560357.
The second, a 2033 tractor, registration number D598 Sit, is painted the same colours and has chassis number 6201432525183 and engine number of 42295710161088.
