• Production of commercial vehicles plummeted by nearly 40% last month compared to 1992's June figures.

Output levels slumped to 16,683 vehicles compared to 27,437 during the same period 12 months ago.

Figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show export production also dropping by 50% to 6,430 units.
