Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CHRYSLER'S Truck Division is launching a drawbar version of the Dodge Barreiros tractive unit at the Scottish Motor Show in November.

Designated the R3820D, the new machine, has a wheelbase of 5.0m (16ft 5in) and is plated at 38 tonnes (37.4 tons) gtw.

A departure from previous Chrysler practice is the fitting of a Fuller constant-mesh gearbox instead of the old Chrysler-built eight-speed range-change unit.

Kelvin Hall will also see the debut of the Dodge tractive unit fitted with the Fuller box.

The other mechanical units are identical to the tilt-cab 300 series tractive unit that was a suprise last-minute addition to the Chrysler stand at Ears] Court last year.

The engine is a turbocharged in-line six-cylinder unit which produces 201kW (270bhp) at 2,200rpm.

Eight-wheeler Chrysler is also dabbling in the eightwheeler market.

A Spanish-built Barreiros eight-wheeler is currently under appraisal by the Chrysler engineering department. But there are no plans, yet, for releasing it for the UK market.

If a Dodge eight-wheeler is released, it will bring the number of competing manufacturers in the UK up to nine.
