The judges
• Paul Conaghy: Certified public accountant with Dempsey Mullen for the past 16 years, with specific responsibility for the road haulage sector. Dempsey Mullen has been auditor to the IRHA since the association was formed 30 years ago.
• Patric Cunnane: Legal editor, Commercial Motor and former editor Commercial Motor Ireland. Shell/CITI Irish Transport Journalist of the Year 1998, Member of CM editorial team since 1990.
• Martin Diskin: Principal officer with the Road Haulage Division of the Department of Transport since November 2000. Responsibilities include licensing and enforcement. Diskin has been a public servant for 22 years.
• Decian Healy: Managing director, Alexander Forbes Risk Services (Ireland). Involved with the IRHA for 10 years and with road haulage insurance for 14 years.
• Stephen HMIs: Sector manager for road transport in communications company 02. He has been involved with the IRHA and the road haulage sector for five years.
