Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I AM WRITING to you about an article by Brian Lee (CM 15 January). In his article,Mr Lee complained about the fact that the Ministry and magistrates connive in slapping massive fines on truck drivers for the slightest mistake. Well of course we do!

Mr Lee must realise that we, together with the police, Customs & Excise.local councils. traffic wardens and random wandering nutcases, consider it essential that we make truck drivers' lives as awkward and unappealing as possible. It is absolutely necessary that we eliminate these nasty, smelly trucks from our roads.

I would point out that many transport managers from your own industry actively support our efforts in making the job of truck driving as difficult as possible.

To complain that our actions cause drivers to leave the industry is stating the obvious,., next thing Mr Lee will want is a Transport Minister who knows something about transport. Get real Mr Lee!
