Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

was from August 31 1969 to August 30 1970. Unfortunately, I was unemployed for the first six months of this period and spent the other six months driving a vehicle in Class 3A. Previous to August 31 1969 I was employed in Belfast, driving all types of articulated outfits. This experience, of course, does not count here. I noticed that the period for qualifying in England was February 2 1969 to February 11970; I would be eligible fora Class One licence for this period.

What I would like to know is this: if acquired the necessary documents (certificate of driving experience, medical certificate and application form) and applied to the Department of the Environment. London, for a Class One licence would this be considered?

AWe have contacted the DoE in London

and your own Licensing Authority in Belfast and, unfortunately, the situation is that you can only claim exemption for the class 3A vehicle under the Ulster regulations. The British regulations do not apply in your case.
