• Prices for the new-model Ford Transits have now been confirmed, and arc in effect. Examples are: Swb petrol 14, 18 and 22cwt models: Type 75 1764, 75 Custom 1802; Type 90 £792, 90 Custom 1830; Type 115 /831, 115 Custom £869; 25cwt Type 125 £972, Type 125 Custom £1010; 290 Parcel Van (Type 100) £1026.
Options include V4 2000 cc petrol engine (not on Type 125) at £28 plus 18 I ls 3d tax, and Perkins'4 /108 diesel at £138 plus £42 3s 5d tax. A single passenger seat costs £16 19s 5d including tax and dual scat 19 2s 10d inc tax. Side-loading doors cost £18.
Transit bus and Crewbus: 9-seat standard £1000 plus £305 I Is pt; 9-seat Custom £1050 plus 1320 16s 7d; 12-seat standard £1006; 12-seat Custom £1066; 13-seat Crewbus £918.

The long-wheelbase bus and Crewbus cost 11325 (15-seat standard), £1385 (15-seat Custom) and £1241 (17-scat Crewbus). Seating capacity is reduced to 14 on bus and 16 on Crewbus with diesel.
