• Eight thousand London Transpot drivers and nearly 7000 conductor qualified last year for awards made by th Road Operators' Safety Council.
Four drivers attained safety records of 4 years or more and the highest award, for 4 years driving, went to Mr Edward Gof who retired from Catford garage earlier thi year,
