RECENTLY Dennis Brothers and Son, Ltd., 17, Silchester Road, London, W.10, shipped to Messrs. T. W. M. Forsyth, Cairo, Egypt, an interesting horse ambulance embodying a Guy ONF-type 30-cwt. forwardcontrol chassis. The vehicle is for the use of the Egyptian Veterinary Corps and constitutes the second horse ambulance that the Dennis concern has constructed for service in Egypt.

The bodybuilders' well-known patent removable stall is used, it being mounted upon wheels so that it may be run down the rear ramp into the roadway. The 'sides and ends may be lowered and, in common with the base, are well padded. A winch mounted at the front of the body is employed to haul the stall into the interior. Suitably padded detachable wings fixed in brackets on the sides of the body offer protection to the animal and prevent it from changing its position during transit.

Just behind the driver's full-width cab there is a compartment for carrying harness and other accessories, as well as the spare wheel. A sliding slatted door on the near side permits an injured animal to be attended from the cab while the vehicle is in motion. An attendant can be accommodated on a near-side folding seat in the driver's compartment.

As will be seta from one of our illustrations, lifting gear is provided at the
