Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The backers of two of the UK's biggest truck exhibitions have avoided a clash over their dates in 1993, with the SMMT moving its relaunched CV show to September.

The SMMT show — the first all-CV event since 1976 — was originally set for May 1993, when the IRTE will be staging its regular exhibition. Both organisations had previously re fused to back down over the dates. The 1992 Motor Show will not feature any CVs over 3.5 tonnes.

The SMMT decided to relaunch the CV motor show following poor attendances at the commercial section of last year's NEC show, Its truck show, on 28 September-3 October 1993, will also be held at the NEC.
