I The Chartered Institute of Transport says there was a 62% pass rate for the first 40 students to sit its alternative to the Certificate of Professional Competence exam.
The road freight Certificate in Transport, which was launched in May, will be followed next year by a road passenger version. About a dozen colleges have expressed an interest in the next round of exams, in January and May 1992.
