GROUP services director of ERF, Tim Foden, has resigned, but remains on the holding board of the company. His resignation follows the recent departure of ERF sales director Bob Chadwick (CM, August 22).

Tom Mountain, general manager of B. and K. Ray Braithwaite, managing director, becomes joint managing director, and Alec Drummond, presently director and general manager, is made director of finance and administration. W. Keys, director and general manager of Walter Alexander and Co (Belfast) becomes director of engineering and production.

Bernard Hanon will take up the post of president director-general for Renault at the beginning of 1982. This post, which is the only management appointment made by the French Govern ment within the Renault group, has been held for the past six years by Bernard Vernier-Palliez, who is due to retire in December.

Taking over as managing director of international operations for Rockwell International, Hugh Bone will have responsibility for all activity outside North America for the company's recently formed Highway Brake and Trailer Axle division. He was previously managing director for Rockwell Bremsen in West Germany and in his new position retains responsibility for the Bremsen facility.

Mike Saunders has recently left Vauxhall Motors, where he was Export fleet sales specialist and then product specialist, to become managing director of a new company — Frimokar (UK). Frimokar (UK) promotes the interests of its associated manufacturing company in Switzerland.
