Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TOUGHER braking regulations will apply to lorries, trailers, and buses from October 1 next year, bringing British vehicles in line with their European equivalents.

All vehicles first built after that date and used from April 1, 1983, in line with the introduction of type approval, will have to be fitted with brakes of new minimum efficiencies laid down by the EEC.

All trailers over 750kg gross yond that weight.

The new regulations, which were laid before Parliament last week by Junior Transport Minister Kenneth Clarke, are aimed in particular at reducing the incidence of jack-knifing accidents.
