REATER investment in rail rvices to the Scottish Highnds would provide a quicker eans of beating road congesan than improving existing lads. This is the view of the 2.ottish Association for Public -anspOrt.
The Association wants to :e the construction of rail dings and oil-related sites te Nigg and Ardersier point, id the improvement of the il line between Inverness id Perth. This could then be ;ed to carry cars, caravans id light vans which now eate congestion on A9.
