Friswells, Ltd., of Albany Street, N.W., has taken up the London agency for Adams vans—those with the self-starters.

At Sheffield Police Court, on the 22nd inst., a driver of a steam wagon was fined 20s, for proceeding over a, measured distance of 110 yds. at a speed of 5-i m.p.h.

Mr. J. Yarwood, the general manager of Berna Commercial Motors, Ltd., is visiting the works in Switzerland this week. .Westminster City Council, as previously announced, is now asking tenders for another four petroldriven wagons. Tenders, which must be for one up to four vehicles, will be received up to noon on the 26th prox. This owner holds THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR Challenge Cup at the present time.

A COMMERCIAL MOTOR correspondent writes that he is experiencing considerable trouble in connection with the dropping of grease in a. motorbus garage. "Grease," he writes, "continually drops from the cars on to the cement floor of the garage. It is not long then before the dirty lubricant comes in contact with the rubber tires. This, I find, is a serious matter unless attended to at once. The tires suffer, if the men are not careful to wipe them clean as soon as possible. Once on the floor, I find that grease is difficult to remove." Hoylake and West Kirby U.D.C. wants tenders, on or before the 6th prox., for a three-tun, and a four-ton, petrol lorry. The threetonner must comply with the W.O. subvention specification.
