Cab comfort
The Globetrotter XL Prestige trim is a strong specification. The interior is clean and, with the addition of a fridge and microwave, one-step closer to a self-contained one-bed flat. Cabinets front, back and under the bunk allow enough space for a week's clothes and tins for evening meals, How ever, the amount of storage does restrict the headroom for any driver looking to go cross-cab.
The material colouring inside the cab — not too light to easily mark. but not so dark it drowns out external brightness — has stood the test of time. The interior remains contemporary and its layout is flexible enough to add a driver's favoured personal trappings. •
• YNO7 AZP is due to be specially adapted to help owner-driver Richard Dover to return to the job, nearly two years after a work-related accident left him paralysed from the waist down.
