Continuing with its Building Britain range, Corgi Classics is releasing a second set of vehicles in its Premium Edition series. Each model will be a limited edition of 2,000 with an individual number on the chassis. There are three new diecast models: a Foden FG eight-wheel platform lorry with brick load (Eastwoods)-1:50 scale; a Bedford 0 artic dropside (HE Musgrove & Sons)—scale 1:50; and a Land Rover with two-wheel trailer (Tarmac)—scale 1:43. Corgi says that keeping the production quotas tight enhances the collectability and value of the models. It claims that Scarnmell Wrecker models are already changing hands for 2100. Yours truly should be considered a limited edition, being something of a rare old bird himself.
