Hanley is putting eight new Schmitz Cargobull self-tracking rear-axle trailers into service.
Co-founder Mike Philip expects the triaxle trailers (running on RPM axles) to reduce tyre wear when paired with new Scania 380 6x2s. They will also reduce the need for cargo shifting by drivers to avoid overloading on multidrop routes.
The 13.6m trailers are more manoeuvrable than fixed-axle versions; they feature the latest Schnittz SK02 technology
