John Mcilniki of Dublin, admitted failing to produce recent tacho charts, He said he had lot them in another vehicle. He was fined £32 with £25 costs.

John Fay, of Co Cavan, admitted failing to produce tacho charts other than for the day he was stopped. He said if he did not do the work somebody else would get it. Ile had left his records at home. Ile was fined £32 with £25 costs.

Anthony Nolan, of Co 'Tipperary, admitted failing to take the required daily and weekly rest periods. Hutchinson said Doolan had been driving for seven days without taking the required weekly rest. Doolan was fined £96 with £25 costs.

Lawrence McDonagh, of Co Meath, admitted three offences of taking insufficient daily rest, one of taking insufficient weekly rest, and one of exceeding the daily driving limit.

Hutchinson said the charges were specimens of the 24 offences found. McDonagh was fined £215 with £25 costs.

Latinos Santos-Martins of Casado, Portugal, admitted failing to take a weekly rest period, but said through an interpreter that he had not realised he was committing an offence. SantosMart ins was tined £18 with 125 costs.
