Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As CM reported exclusively from the CV Show at Birmingham, MAN-ERF has revamped its used division. Kevin Swallow has more details.

W. hen CEO Des Evans said MAN Diesel was up for review, he wasn't kidding. Out has gone its established brand identity; in comes MAN Top Used.

The change is designed to cope with the new challenges facing MAN-ERF UK. Sales and marketing director Dave Cussans explains:"We had made 'Diesel' a strong name in this sector in the UK, and we can build on that with the new name as we enter a new era." The Diesel tag will be used for the company's marine and static engine division in Augsburg. "There is a great deal of common sense, as well as a tremendous historical relevance, in using MAN Diesel for the engine division," Cussans remarks.

Pioneering

"The move relates it all back to the pioneering work completed at MAN by Rudolf Diesel himself, as he developed the industry changing engines that still bear his name to this day. It's taken more than 110 years to get it there, but at last it is happening." •
