• Norbert Dentressangle has admitted it fired a transport operator from its Aylesbury office because her boyfriend left the company to work for rival firm, Giraud.
ND told Sandrine Spada she would have to leave as Robert Day's departure would cause a conflict of interest. Spada claims she could not have passed on company secrets as she had no access to confidential information.
But the company says it was not prepared to risk its confidentiality and, although it was unfortunate, it had to be done.
