Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

some particularly innovative designs and a number of important safety features

Warley Truck Bodies' 80yd3 Mega-Jecta waste carrier. launched at this year's Tipcon show, is a high-tensile steel bodied trailer built to handle anything from domestic waste to light scrap metal and the judges were impressed by its apparent structural strength.

It ejects its cargo using a heavy duty hydraulically operated blade pushed by an Edbro RK222 doubleacting ram. There are phosphor bronze bushes and wear plates for all moving parts and it avoids body bow by clever use of lateral corrugations in the side panels.

Walley offers a hydraulic tailgate or barn doors with a neat adjustable height cross-bar; including Henderson tri-axled running gear the Mega-Jecta tares out at 11.28 tonnes.

Weightlifter Bodies' established 50yd3 Ettromaster design with its alloy planked, monocoque body was built with efficiency and safety in mind.

The judges were impressed by its excellent payload potential and sturdy looking extruded aluminium sides, framework and floors—flat sides are more fuel-efficient.

A self-tracking rear axle improves manoeuvrability and reduces tyre wear; electronic load cells ensure that it is not over (or under)-loaded.

Three important safety aspects are the rack-andpinion grain hatch which can be operated from the side; the rollover sheeting system; and the substantial safety platform round the Edbro front-end tipgear.

Wisbech Bulk Systems' waste paper carrier bristled with innovative ideas designed to make life easier for its owner, Brian Perry Waste Paper, and its driver.

Another smooth sided con struction, it featured a Hiab loading crane, an on-board weighing system, a mechanically sliding roof cover from Harsh and a Hyva moving-plank floor for unloading out the rear.

Based on Wisbech's own high-tensile steel tri-axle chassis, the paper carrier body is made from full length extrusions with 5.0mm alloy plank decking, 30min hollow plank sides and alloy rear doors.

Using planked sides gives an 8.0ft (2.44m) inner width and reduces the overall height. Capacity is 75yd3 and with a 10.48-tonne tare, payload is high.

Once laden there's no clambering on top for the driver: he uses the latest Slide n' Go tarp system from Harsh to cover the load. The judges liked the addition of Croft's Backstop that uses infra-red reversing sensors linked to the brakes.

They were also impressed by the easy loading and unloading,

the safety aspects and the STAR innovative design of QUALITIES Wisbech's waste Hiab 100W loading crane.
