Standards course
• The British Standards Institution has developed a low cost, training programme for small businesses to help them understand and apply management quality standard BS EN ISO 9000. The course, which consists of five days' class work and three half-day company visits over a six-month period, costs £1,500 per person. It is designed to pass on skills and knowledge to companies so they can benefit from the new standards.
