• Orders totalling £70,000 have been placed with UMO Plant Ltd for the purchase of eight on-road models of 13elaz 25611 dumpers.
The orders for the 15-ton trucks have come from P. Casey and Co Ltd of Pendleton, Lanes, for four trucks to be used for site reclamation work. The other four have been ordered by Heanor Plant Construction Ltd of Heanor, Derbyshire, and will be used for site clearance and for general hire. The Russian-built Belaz is powered by a V8 diesel of 14.86 litres developing 265 bhp.
