Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NAR. JAMES AMOS. chairman of the -VI Scottish Omnibuses Group, has asked employees to support a four-point compaign for increased business—safety, courtesy, punctuality and personal attention. Only two approaches to financial stability exist; these are by reduction of operating costs or increasing revenue; preferably, both could be used. Increasing revenue is a healthier approach and Mr. Amos says this demands better management -and better service from all concerned. Good and intelligent drivers could increase mileage per gallon from 12 to 13 and save £210,000 a year overall. Mr. -Amos ends: "If you get the passengers you get the fares; if you get the fares, you get the revenue; if you get the revenue, you get the wages. In these days of keen competition it is impossible to overemphasize this."
