Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

At a recent meeting of the traffic managers and engineers of our members, reference was made to the very high cost of spare parts.

One member instanced that a wheel stud for an Albion had cost him £5.40. Further members reported their records show that spares have increased by an average of about 80 per cent and that certain parts have increased by as much as 200 per cent.

Difficulty is experienced because manufacturers do not appear to produce price lists.
