Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

If there is one thing I can't stand — and there are many — it's things that clutter up windows! Based on the principle that windscreens or windows are made to see through, and are designed to give maximum vision, I can't understand why drivers stick things on them to obscure their vision or, worse still, distract the attention of themselves and other drivers.

You will now have some idea how I felt when one of these plastic waving hands arrived here last week. No, Mr Hallam of Enterprise Products, I am not interested in the -fad— your word, not mine. Nor, I trust, will any of our readers be "interested to hear of this product at our competitive prices.'"
