• Tipmaster has introduced fixed-price tipper conversions for the Isuzu NKR and the Volkswagen IT 3.5tonne chassis-cabs.
The Isuzu conversion has been approved by Isuzu Truck (UK), and consists of a steel body with a doublehung tailgate, steel wings and an electrohydraulic front-end ram. The body measures 3.10 x 1.65 x 0.30m and offers a gross payload of about 1,340kg; the conversion costs £2,020 including paintwork, making for an all-up price of £16,570 (ex-VAT).
The Volkswagen conversion is based on the LT35 2.5TDI chassis-cab on a wheelbase of 3.55m; it offers a higher payload of 1,560kg and body dimensions of 3.20 x 1.93 x 0.30m. The conversion price is £2,065 (ex-VAT).
