AN OPERATOR from Wellin Kent, failed to appear at a pub inquiry in London last week.
Alan Brooks instructed h solicitor to attend on his behi and it was the solicitor who tc the Metropolitan Licensir Authority that Mr Brooks still h certain part-heard matters b fore Bexley magistrates whi. are to be resumed on Februa 4, 1982. It was suggested by tl solicitor acting for Brooks Bexley that that case should I heard first.
The LA, Anthony Robertso recognised the conflict betwei the two sets of proceedinc and, in accepting the plea for adjournment, "viewed wi alarm" the fact that the Bexl. proceedings will not resume u til February.
